Small Bills, Big Impact for Ukraine

54th Mechanized Brigade
Their Vehicle Was Taken Away

54th Mechanized Brigade.png

Earlier this week, the 54th Mechanized Brigade was hit hard.

When the fighting stopped, something critical was gone. Their vehicles.

For this unit, vehicles are not equipment.
They are lifelines. They move soldiers to a position. They evacuate the wounded.
They deliver food, medical supplies, and ammunition. They keep people alive.

Now, the road is empty.

The soldiers of the 54th are still standing, still holding their positions, and still doing their job.
But without a vehicle, every movement becomes slower, riskier, and more dangerous.

Help the 54th Mechanized Brigade replace a vehicle as fast as possible so they can continue operating and protect their people.

There is no excess here. No buffer. No waiting.

This is about restoring mobility, so lives are not lost simply because help could not reach them in time. You can help by donating through Spirit of Ukraine, which will transfer funds directly to support this need, or by donating directly to the brigade.

Northern Shield Convoy is a direct, efficient, and field-focused effort to deliver medical, humanitarian, and military aid to where it’s needed most quickly and without delay.

This campaign is led by Swe_Medic, a Swedish non-profit working directly with Ukrainian military partners, together with April Huggett (Defacto Humanity) an AFU senior soldier committed to frontline logistics and support.

A Spirit of Ukraine Fundraiser Featuring the Paintings by Olena.

olena art picture.jpg

In a small art therapy room at a cancer center in Lviv, Ukraine, artist Olena found healing through the use of color. Between treatments, she painted vivid blooms, each stroke a meditation on strength, beauty, and the will to live.

Now, her artwork continues its journey of compassion. Through Spirit of Ukraine, Olena’s paintings will be auctioned and sold to raise funds for Ukrainians enduring the hardships of war from families who’ve lost everything to hospitals still struggling to care for the wounded and displaced.

These original acrylic paintings, created in 2025, are not just works of art; they are acts of courage. Each one carries the story of a young lady who, while fighting for her own life, chose to give life and hope to others.

When you purchase or bid on one of Olena’s paintings, you’re not only supporting her wish to help Ukraine heal, you’re becoming part of that healing yourself.

When art heals, it heals the world.
